I love words. And stories. And writing. And books. And talking about books.
I like reading whatever takes my fancy though in terms of sheer numbers I have probably read romance the most. So far authors whose works I’ve loved include Dorothy Dunnett, Elizabeth Gaskell, Azar Nafisi, Georgette Heyer, Amitav Ghosh, Terry Pratchett, Jane Austen, David Whyte, Hafiz and Daniel Ladinsky and Ann Leckie.
As with everything else in life, I’ve discovered that my reading taste and preferences is not something set in stone; it continues to evolve.
Thanks for the follow! I do like the tone of your reviews — looking forward to reading more in due course and adding to the conversation.

Hi Juhi, your book reviews are so insightful and indepth! I will be back to read these in more detail. I have been out of touch with the classics.
PS: I heard you want to have a chat with me. 😉 About flowers and sunsets and the like. 😉

Haha, I thought this comment got lost because I wasn’t sure it was published or not. Did I also say I love weeds? No, not THE weed. 😉 Those little pernicious stubborn weeds – it’s so sad they are called garden pests. One of my favorites is the oxalis – it grows where nothing you think can grow, in the corners of pavements and cracks in the road.Such awesome survivors I am a fan. 😉

😀 right. I haven’t heard the term oxalis before but I quite love it! I’m going to keep an eye out for them! And yeah, it’s amazing isn’t it, how life finds a way to thrive everywhere you look? (including places where there’s no Oxygen!)
